You will find here all information on the last meeting of International Colloquium on Ancient Greek linguistics, which was held in Nice (France), June 25—27, 2025.
This edition received 149 abstract submissions and welcomed 109 registered participants from 15 countries all around the world. There were 81 talks and 9 posters over 3 full days, along with 3 invited lectures.
It was inaugurated by Jeannick Brisswalter, President of Université Côte d'Azur, and Jean-Paul Aubert, Director of EUR CREATES.
We want to thank all people involved in making it a great success!
The next edition will take place in Pavia in 2028.
The ICAGL Series
The11th International Colloquium on Ancient Greek Linguistics (ICAGL) (4th in the new series) was held in Nice in June of 2025. The original series started in Amsterdam 1986 and in 2015 merged with the Italian series of conferences on Greek linguistics (Incontro Internazionale di Linguistica Greca), to start the new regular series of colloquia held every three years. This series of conferences aims to provide an international forum to present high-calibre ongoing research, or results already achieved, by scholars in the field of Ancient Greek linguistics.
